Dale Eugene Miller

Dale Eugene Miller, 93, a resident of McDonald passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as Senior Elder for 60 years. He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, class of 1946. Mr. Miller was a retired printer, employed with Earnest Holmes for 27 years and Krystal Company for a number of years. He was a member of Future Farmers of America, and enjoyed farming, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nora Miller; infant brother; sister, Reba Cofield and husband, Garland; brother, Glenn Miller and wife Peggy.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Lue Brown Miller; nieces and nephews: Jim and Joy Cofield, John and Fawnda Cofield, Jean and Roger Hammond, Judy and Steve Faulkner, Denise and David Grant, and Patricia and Tim Garvich; brother-in-law, Dennis Brown and wife Barbara; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Pine Hill Cemetery with nephews, the Reverends Jim and John Cofield officiating. Jim Cofield, John Cofield, Jonathan Hammond, David Hammond, Calvin Cofield, and Daryl Sleiger will serve as pallbearers.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Adoration Hospice, 2765 Executive Park Dr. NW, Cleveland, TN 37312 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
