Darrell A. Anderson

Darrell A. Anderson, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in a local hospital. He was retired from commercial construction; Darrell was employed with Randall Fisher Construction Co for 40 years. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church for 48 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh L. and Hazel Anderson; daughters, Melanie Anderson Burris, and Mitizi Anderson Berge; brothers: twin brother, Carroll Anderson, Doyle Anderson, and Bill Anderson. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy Hawkins Anderson of Cleveland; children, John Mark Anderson of Cleveland, Ladena McCracken (Patrick) of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Shannon Vincent (Johnny) of Cleveland; grandchildren: Mickey Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Joshua Bird, Kelli Farris, T.J. Burns, Kayla Stachowiak, Peyton McCracken, Alexis Smith, Autumn McCracken, Chelsea Johnson, Lil Man Johnson, and Katelyn Vincent; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bailes (Jerry); and special friends, Cassidy and the  H.L. Lowe family. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at New Salem Baptist Church with Pastor A.C. Cooper officiating. Private entombment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends  3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to New Salem Baptist Church, 175 Ladd Springs Rd. SE, Cleveland, TN 37323 in memory of Darrell.
