David Eugene Beaty, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home. He was a well known farmer in Bradley County for many years. David also ran a dairy for several years along with his son and siblings. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was on the board of Farmers Union Mutual Insurance where he enjoyed time with others who served with him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Belle Hickman Beaty; parents, Horace Beaty and Mary Palmer Beaty; his sisters: Ruby Beaty Hickman, Gertrude Beaty and infant sister, Georgia Lee Beaty; brothers: Warner Beaty, Paul Beaty and Melvin Beaty; brother-in-law, Clyde Hickman; and sisters-in-law, Jessie Faye Beaty and Mildred Beaty
Survivors include his son, Daniel E. Beaty and his wife, Elizabeth “Becky” Beaty; brother, Varnell Beaty; sister, Margaret Beaty; sisters-in-law, Wanda Faye Beaty and Jean Beaty Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Sammy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery (White Oak Valley Rd.) with his nephews, Eddie Beaty, Gary Beaty, Mark Beaty, Randy Beaty, Brian Beaty, James Beaty and Marvin Hickman serving as pallbearers/
His family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
