David A. Jenkins, 80, of Cleveland, went to be with his family in Heaven on Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was retired from Westvaco and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Arthur and Violet Jenkins; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Wayne Renne; and niece, Janice Brackett.
Survivors include his loving wife, Florine Jenkins; daughter, Susan (Scott) Adams; step daughter, Betty Wiggins; step grandson, Tommy (Shannon) Prater; nephew, Roger (Dawn) Stewart; niece, Jennifer Stewart; special great niece, Morgan (Nik) Trowell; great nephews, Carson Brackett, Patrick (Erica) Stewart) and great great nephew, Harrison Stewart; step grandchildren, Kadee Prater and her mother, Jessaka; adopted great grandchildren, Anna and Jazmine Talbert, Rayha Lenoir; and Ava Bryan and mother, Cheyenne; and brother and sister-in-laws, Harold (Debbie) Carver, Ailene Wilcox and Grace Webb.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jonny Wilcox officiating. Tommy Prater, Nik Trowell, Carson Brackett, Roger Stewart, Patrick Stewart and Ricky Black will serve as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday prior to the service.
A special thank you to Debbie Watson and Edna Wilcox for being there and all the help you were to the family. The family would also like to thank Amy Nelson and Cynthia Crabtree from Adoration Hospice for the special care you gave to him.
