Dollie Blackburn

March 15, 1939 — August 5, 2021

Dollie Cantrell Blackburn, 82, of Delano passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at her home in Delano. She was retired from Faye Swafford as a seamstress, but continued to sew for family and friends for many years. She was a member of Chestuee Worship Center for many years. She enjoyed the Hallmark Channel and loved flowers, riding horses, and listening to 50’s and 60’s music as well as Christian music. Dollie enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, feeling her feet in the sand.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Clara Cantrell; husband, Thomas “Tom” Blackburn; great grandchild, Drew Womack; and sister, Barbara Jean Lockhart.

Survivors include her children: Tommy (Karen) Blackburn and Debbie (Doug) Keel, all of Delano and Jamie (Sandra) Ledford of Cleveland; grandchildren: Ben and Jayden Cross, Brent (Felisha) Browder, Jeremy (Krissy) Blackburn, Danny Womack, Karl (Billy) Redd, April (Justin) Thomas, Ashley (Chris) Headrick, Chase (Lashonda) Watson, Brad (Lindsey) Watson, Sierra Ledford, and Logan Keel; great grandchildren: Alex, Brynne, Sadie, Madison, Lathan, Myley, Lyncoln, Abby, Ella, Baylee, Peyton, Hope, Blake, Cody, Clari, Dakota, Chole, and Jaxon; three great-great grandchildren: Nova, Nollie, and Bria; sisters: Sybil Wooten, Judy Clahanan, and Patty Conway; brothers, William Roy Cantrell and Michael “Mike” (Vickie) Cantrell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
