Dorthella Romines Tinsley

Dorthella Romines Tinsley, 88, of Cleveland passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at her home.  She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where she led the singing.  Dorthella retired from Faye Swafford Originals.  She loved to sing, sew and spend time with her family.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved her husband and all of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Tinsley; parents, Chester and Maude Bancroft Romines; siblings, Franklin Romines, Marion Romines, Marvin Romines, Anna Faye Drago, Barbara Jean Evans and Virginia Ruth Romines; and grandson, Rosco Keith Paige Tinsley.

Survivors include her children, Tony (Linda) Tinsley of Benton and Keith Tinsley and Jackie (Dan) Ownby, all of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren, Shane  Tinsley, Shalan (Mack) Beasley, Tiffany (Adam) Kirkpatrick, Megan (Matt) Kamps, Ryan Tinsley (Jerod) Smith, Blake Tinsley, Valerie Tinsley, Darion Leamon and Daniel Leamon; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Sherlin, Deborah Sout and Jo Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Todd Collins and the Reverend David Rollins officiating.  The interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Shane Tinsley, Ryan Tinsley, Blake Tinsley, J. D. Kirkpatrick, Tucker Proffit and Mack Beasley serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
