Paul Douglas “Doug” Albritton, 49, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at a local hospital. He was a 1990 graduate of Charleston High School. Doug was a former Bradley County Sherriff’s officer, volunteered with the Charleston Fire Department and also worked in the automobile repair business. He was a member of Lakeview Community Church. Doug was a dedicated father and husband. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Guthrie Albritton. Survivors include his wife, Jamie Delk Albritton; son, Anderson Albritton; father, Paul R. Albritton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sheree and James Delk; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sam and Amy Blankenship; nieces, Abby Blankenship and Gracie Blankenship; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Terry Flatt, Wendall Dixon and Kathy and Kevin Mundis. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Wilds and Pastor David Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Calhoun Cemetery with Terry Flatt, Anderson Albritton, Joe Shamblin, Matt Dixon, Danny Davis, and Jamie Thurman serving as pallbearers.
