Doyle O. Duvall

Doyle O. Duvall, 76, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at a local hospital. He was retired Sergeant from the Illinois State Police and attended Philippi Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ida Duvall; sisters: Ethel Gazdowski, Lois Risch, and Mary Franks; and brothers: Charles Duvall, Clyde L. Duvall, and Guy Duvall.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Duvall of Cleveland; children: Kellie Souther (Dan) of Newton, NC, Kim McDaniel (Ward) of Easely, SC, Steve Duvall (Melissa) of Braidwood, Illinois, Matt Duvall (Anne) of Greenville, SC, Phil Duvall (Katie) of Ridgecrest, NC, Justin Duvall (Amanda) of Cleveland, Shawn Anderson (Courtney) of Dahlgren, Illinois, Shannon Anderson (Victoria) of Norris City, Illinois, Mary Harris (Brad) of Cleveland, and Lisa Wervey (Josh) of Okinawa, Japan; tons of grandchildren; brother, Jim Duvall; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with his sons serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
