Edna Mae Gates

Edna Mae Gates, 92, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Gates loved to cook and garden, and if you visited she made sure you did not leave hungry. She loved her family and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ada Gamble; brothers, Curtis Gamble and R.L. Gamble.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Gates; children, Taylor Ray Gates (Nancy), Betty Rymer (Lige), and Richard Keith (Theresa); ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; brother, Taylor “Mac” Gamble; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Cheatham and the Reverend Homer Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
