Elizabeth Kibble Hancock, 92, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Elkmont Baptist Church. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Eastern Star, Ocoee Chapter and Woodman of the World, and served as a nurse for 39 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hancock; parents, Velmer “Blue” and Margaret Kibble; sisters: Velma Waggoner, Nancy Oliver, and Sue Welchel.
Survivors include her children: Tracy Hancock (Jan), Ginger Gobble (Tony), and Susan Howard (Gary); grandchildren: Trevor Hancock, of Marietta, GA, Trent Hancock, of Cleveland, Megan Gobble of Roswell, GA, Michaela Gobble, of Jonesboro, TN, Haley Howard, Kyle Howard, both of Cleveland, and Christen Wood of Lakeland, FL; two great grandchildren; sisters: Phyllis Boring of Athens, GA, Martha Dodge of Arizona, and Virginia Madison of Las Vagas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Elkmont Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Hood and Pastor Anthony Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Barney Waggoner, Alan Boring, Trevor Hancock, Trent Hancock, Kyle Howard, and Jason Rollinger serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.
