Elsie Wyatt Stamps, 72, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. She was a member of Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy. Elsie loved traveling and enjoyed many trips with her family. She was dedicated to her family and was a loving mother, “Gaga” to her two grandchildren, sister and aunt. Elsie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jimmy Joe Stamps; parents, Ridley and Elsie Pauline Smiddie Wyatt; and brothers, Kenneth Wyatt, Jerry Wyatt and Mark Wyatt.
Survivors include her children, Tonya Stamps of Tampa, FL, Jimmy Joe Stamps, II of Atlanta and Amy Kier and husband, Ken of Cleveland; grandchildren, Wyatt Kier and Lauren Kier, both of Cleveland; sister, Donna Risch of Cleveland; brothers, John Wyatt of Cookeville and Ridley (Carol) Wyatt, Jr. of Ashland City; special niece, Jennifer Risch of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Linda Ragland of Cookeville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Adrian Varlack officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
