Emma Marie Parker, a lifelong resident of Old Fort, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 after a brief illness.   She was employed with the Church of God General Offices for many years.  Emma was a 50 year member of The Order of the Eastern Star and she attended Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Kermit and Flora Peak.  Emma was also preceded in death by her husband, George Terry Parker; and siblings, Robert Peak, Mary Lewallen and Ruthie May Peak.

Survivors include her children and spouses, George and Anita Parker, John and Leigh Ann Parker and Terrie and Jimmy Wright; grandchildren, Sarah Wright, Lucas (Morgan) Parker, David Wright and Ethan (Abby) Parker; great grandchildren, Coy and Lailah Parker; siblings, Bill (Marie) Peak, Kermit (Linda) Peak and Wilma Jean (Maurice) Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Daniel White officiating. 

Due to COVID-19 concerns there will not be a visitation prior to the service.
