Ina C. Miller McSpadden, 76, of McDonald was surrounded by her family when she finally won her battle over a life filled with sickness and pain. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior and the many loved ones that welcomed her home on Monday, November 25, 2019.
She loved God and she loved people. Ina will be remembered by those who knew her for her unwavering faith in God and never hesitated to share the message of God’s love with everyone. She has been an undefeated warrior for the Kingdom of God. Only now is she beginning to see the actual magnitude of her faithfulness. Not only devoted to her family and friends, but a devotion to church and the work of the Lord was her greatest desire. She has mentored and taught so many children and young adults through her years of servitude in church. From bake sales, unparalleled BBQ sales, youth activities, ministering to those in need…she had a true servant’s heart.
If asked what made her most proud, she would tell you that her children made her one proud Mama. She loved her family.
She was born to the late Luther and Esther Miller of Cleveland TN; She was also preceded in death by her husband, George (Doug) McSpadden; her son, Douglas (Dougie) McSpadden; and siblings, Harry Miller, Jennie Miller, Jack Miller, Mary Miller, Fred Miller, Ethel Elsie, Jewell Miller, Sterling Miller and Violet Ratledge.
To carry on her legacy, she is survived by her daughters, Donna (Jimmy) Burns, Deanna (Roger) Brookshire and Debbie (Tim) Selby; son, Daniel (Donna) McSpadden; her most precious treasures would be her grandchildren, Kristy (Kody) Fox, Kevin (Jamie) McSpadden, Amanda McSpadden, Corey Brookshire, Conner Brookshire, Blake McSpadden, Jordan Selby and Dillon Selby; sisters, Evelyn Dotson, Lottie Miller and Shirley Gates; brother, Teddy Miller; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with her pastor, the Reverend Guinn Green (Kinser Church of God) and her son by love, the Reverend Jimmy Burns officiating. Her grandson by love, Kody Fox will minister in song. The interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her grandsons, Kody Fox, Kevin McSpadden, Corey Brookshire, Conner Brookshire, Blake McSpadden and Dillon Selby will serve as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
