Jack Odom, 91, of Cleveland passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at a local hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. After leaving the Army he was owner/operator of a local grocery store and later retired as an insurance agent. Jack enjoyed traveling, cooking and working crossword puzzles. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Sutton Odom; parents, Frank and Ollie Gordon Odom; and siblings, Rozelle Goins, Mildred Elmore, Jessie Lynn Silvers and J.R. Filyaw.
Survivors include his twin sons, Robert Odom and Rodney Odom; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.
His family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home prior to the service.
