Jacquelynn "Jackie" Norton Crawford

Jacquelynn “Jackie” Norton Crawford, 77, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021.  Jackie was of the Baptist faith.  She was born January 30, 1944 to the late Waid Norton and Grace McCall Norton.  She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and the University of Chattanooga.  A retired teacher, Jackie spent many years teaching in the Cleveland City Schools system.  Teaching was her passion, and she continued to stay in contact with many former students.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Robert “Bob” Crawford; and siblings, Dorothy “Dot” Norton Munns, W. Mack Norton, Neita “Teenie” Norton Hundley and Richard “Dickie” Norton.

A devoted aunt, she provided continuous love and support to her nieces and nephews.  She is survived by Doyle Hundley (Pennie), Donna Munns McDaniel, Teresa Norton Gravitt (Herb), Stan Norton (Denise), Mike Hundley (Judy), David Norton (Tracy), Daniel Norton (Amber) and several beloved great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces.  She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Janice Norton, and a brother-in-law, Edward “Eddy” Crawford.

A private family graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Doctor Will Lauderback presiding.
