Jimmy Dale Ogle, 78, of East Ridge passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved reading and studying his Bible and being close to God. He was retired from K-Mart. He loved spending time with his family, making people laugh, hiking, animals, listening to music and playing the piano. He loved his wife Linda, and giving to help others. Family was very important, taking every opportunity to spend time with children, grandchildren, brother, sister, and cousins. Jimmy believed that showing his love for people, and building them up was key to a good life. He gave all to help those in need.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Riley Ogle; parents Harold J. Ogle and Audrey Geneva Osment Ogle.
Survivors include his son Tommy and Sarah Wilson Ogle of Ringgold, GA; step daughter April Dye of Chattanooga; grandchildren Sean Ogle and Bailey Ogle of Chattanooga, and Natalie Wilson of Ringgold; siblings Harold Eddie Ogle (Grace), Harold Buster Ogle of Cleveland, Eleanor Raye Hice of Knoxville; cats Dog Face and Gracie; dog Dorky; cousins Chee Chee Allen, Susie Crouch, Linda Prince, Karen Bishop, Brenda Carson, Connie Dalton, Barbara Smith, Sherry Geren, Denise Dyke, Pam Guinn, Danny Osment, and Gina Akins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with the Pastor Amy Nutt officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service, at the funeral home.
