John Isaac Kelley, 74, of Cleveland passed away Friday, September 17, 2021at a Chattanooga hospital. Mr. Kelley was retired from TVA after 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Kelley loved to hunt and fish and he attended Mt. Olive Ministries.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Kelley; and uncle, John O. Kelley.
Survivors include his mother, Katherine Kelley; wife, Glenda Kelley; sons, Brian Kelley (April) and Jeff Kelley (Kristy); grandchildren: Ashley Snyder (Alex), Thaxton Kelley, Nathaniel Kelley (Camryn), and Chandler Kelley; great grandchildren, Malachi Snyder and Sadie Grace Kelley; twin brother, Joe Kelley and brother, Bobby Kelley; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Earls Cemetery with Pastor Gary Sears and Pastor James Sears officiating. Nathaniel Kelley, Chandler Kelley, Thaxton Kelley, Alex Snyder, Andy Turner, and Steve May will serve as pallbearers. The service will conclude with Military Honors and a White Dove Release Ceremony.
