Marvin Donahue, 83, of Charleston, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born July 20, 1938 to the late Ellis and Edith Carlile Donahue. He was a member of Covenant Promise Church.
Marvin served in the National Guard of Indiana for 6 years. He attended the American Institute of Baking in Chicago where later he began his career at Wonder Bakery where he became the foreman of bread baking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Booton Donahue and sister Patricia Donahue.
Survivors include his daughter Kathryn (Donnie) Smith of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mikala), Ryan and Tyler (Melissa) Smith; and 4 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 on Thursday November 18, 2021 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Elledge officiating. The interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with Randy Stafford, Donnie Lindsey, Ron Crawford, Kenny Green, Eugene Chavez and Harley Buchtel serving as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
