Rex Clabough, 87, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home. He was a chicken farmer for many years. Rex was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and was a loving grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mattie McCarter Clabough; son, Gary Allen Clabough; brothers, Fred Clabough, Arvel Clabough, Sherrell Clabough and Ralph Clabough, who was his twin; and sisters, Leigh Owby, Kate Pierce, Ruth Clabough and Evie Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Annie Belle Fann Clabough of Cleveland; daughters, Karen (David) Cooke, Ramona (Wade) Hall and Penny Clabough, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Tosha, Brad, Durand, Dusti, Nickie and Cassie; eight great grandchildren, Amber, Annie, Madelyn, Tucker, Parker, Bailey, Kirsten and Kylie; three great great grandchildren, Addie, Kinsleigh and Linnie; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Moore's Chapel Cemetery with the Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.
His family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home prior to the service.
