Ruby Lee Moore Cartwright

Ruby Lee Moore Cartwright, age 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.  She was born to Edgar Moore and Mary Bell Alloway Moore of Calhoun on February 24, 1949.  Ruby was a graduate of McMinn County High School in Athens and grew up in Calhoun.

She worked in the photo lab industry for most of her working career.  Ruby had spent most of her life devoted to the care and service of others.  She was a member of Kinser Church of God in Cleveland and also attended Galilee Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Franklin Cartwright; parents, Edgar and Mary Bell Moore;  brothers, Billy, Glenn, and JL Moore; and sisters, Betty Ruth Thomas and Jane Ann Evans.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Newton and Ronald Latham, Jr., both of Cleveland; step-son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Dawn Cartwright and  step-daughter, Pam Howard, all of Cleveland; two brothers, John and Tom Moore, both of Calhoun; sister, Dean Orr of Charleston; and several loving grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green, Pastor Cody Harris and Pastor Don Weaver officiating the service.  Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Michael Liner, Stanley Liner, Rusty Hembree, Ray Shooster, Doug Satterfield, Jr. and Mark Evans serving as pallbearers. 

Her family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home at the funeral home prior to the service.
