Sarah Belle Brown Harris, 101, of Cleveland, passed away at home Saturday morning, October 14, 2023. She was born in Valley Head, Alabama. She was a devoted Christian and member of First Baptist Church, and previously a longtime member of Charleston Presbyterian Church, where she started the very first Sunday School Class for children and later for adults. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Harris, and daughter Martha Rouse, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children Sarah Jo Stutz, Rebecca Harris, and Eddie (Gaye) Harris. Her grandchildren Michele (Roy) Odom, Wayne (Regina) Brantley, Travis (Tammy) Rouse, Joseph (Deouin) Rouse, Brian (Cidney) Daniel, Aaron Daniel, Sarah Beth (Paul) Sisson, Kari (Charley) Gilliland, Micah Harris, and Kyle (Laura) Harris Great grandchildren are Blake (Emily) Culpepper, Sarah Culpepper, Piper, Bree and Tia Brantley, Megan and Morgan Rouse, Taj and Isla Daniel, Claire and Camille Daniel, Stax McEntyre, Cora Burton, Jackson and Harrison Gilliland; Brayden Harris, Hadley, Hayes, and Landen Harris. She has one great-great granddaughter, Addie Mae Culpepper and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hearth Hospice for their help and support, especially Michelle, Gail, April and Ashley. Also, a big thank you to Liz with Amedisys. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stan Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
