Sharon Jenkins Taylor passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021.  She was born and raised in Bradley County and was a 1973 graduate of Bradley Central High School.  She was an active member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.  She volunteered with many community organizations including, Unity Center at Broad Street United Methodist Church, Empty Stocking Fund, and the Cleveland/Athens Cotillion. She was an avid tennis player. 

She was preceded in death by her parents T.R. and Ressie Jenkins and, brother Bobby Jenkins.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Scott Taylor of Cleveland, children Clint and wife Beth Taylor, and Clarke and wife Kristen Taylor all of Cleveland; grandchildren Caleb Taylor, Thomas Taylor, and soon to arrive Boone Taylor all of Cleveland; aunts Frances Jenkins of Cleveland; and Frances Jenkins of Chattanooga; cousin Janet (Jimmy) Posey of Chattanooga; niece Brie Jenkins of New York City, NY; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Gerald Burns; niece Ashley and husband Jim Meagher; nephew Brandon and wife Maggie Burns; and a great niece and nephew also survive.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 26, 2021 in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm with the Reverend Micah Nicolaus of Broad Street United Methodist Church officiating.  Jim Park, Paul Bacon, Gerald Burns, Lamar McKenzie, Allan Jones, and Richard Banks will serve as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers will be the Board of Directors of Bank of Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Unity Center at Broad Street United Methodist Church https://app.easytithe.com/App/Giving/bsumc or MainStreet Cleveland 180 2nd St. NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
