Sherrilynn Johnson Hurd

Sherrilynn Johnson Hurd, 59, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her residence. She was a veteran of the United States Army.  Sherrilynn was a vocational rehabilitation evaluator with the State of Tennessee. She was a faithful member of the East Side Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Reid and Annie Lee Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter, Enjoli Ramsey of Fairfax, VA; brother, Toriq Johnson of Nashville, sister, Veronica Dennard of Savannah, GA ; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the East Side Church of Christ with Minister Gary McDade and Minister John Taylor officiating.  The interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Her family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
