Wanda Sue Humberd

Wanda Sue Humberd, 85, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, entered the gates of heaven on, Friday, January 31, 2020 to be greeted by her family and friends who went before her. 

She was born on September 30, 1934 to the late Jewel and Ruby Watkins.  Wanda Sue was a Godly woman, who served as the organist and as a Sunday school teacher at Sugar Creek United Methodist Church.  As a pillar of the Valley View Community of South Bradley County, Wanda Sue spent many years as a Kindergarten teachers assistant and Librarian at Valley View Elementary School , which she later retired from.  Wanda Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Humberd, who she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with; parents Jewel and Ruby Watkins; brothers Randall Dale Watkins and Dan Curtis Watkins

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Scott (Debbie) Humberd, of Cleveland; her daughter Karen (Mike) OQuinn of Chattanooga, and her son Les Humberd of Cleveland.  She will continue to be loved by her 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. 

The family will celebrate the loving soul of Wanda Sue Humberd Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend David Disney officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 12:30- 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
