Willie Mae Varnell

Willie Mae Varnell, 89, went to be with her Lord on August 11, 2020.  She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on February 16, 1931.  Mrs. Varnell spent most of her time in Orlando and Winter Park, Florida where she raised her family.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and all who knew her, loved her.  She will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Bertha Smith Whiteside; husband, Jack Dean Varnell Sr.; sons, Jack Dean Varnell Jr. (Linda Varnell, daughter-in-law), Walter Gary Varnell, and Charles Mitchell Varnell.

Survivors include her sons: Mark Wayne Varnell (Sandra) of Apopka, Fl., David Garland Varnell of Mims, Florida, James Harold Varnell (Marta) of Ocala, Florida, Ronald Douglas of Plymouth, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Helen Varnell of Orlando, Florida; sister, Wilma Ruth Corbin of Sevierville, TN; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Cemetery.
